Hi!

Is there coming special transport in Scandinavia & Finland?

I hope so because I drive there mainly.

I'd be happy to take out all map mods to be safe. The 2nd profile I have is nothing, but for testing really. I use it when I pick up a new mod to see if it conflicts with anything before I put it in to my actual profile.

Hi ScuL
Thanks for the reply. That sounds like you're making quite good progress then considering the amount of work it must take. Colour me impressed. I've read somewhere that full compatibility may not be possible as Promods changes the parts of the map where these jobs take place. You guys have any plans to correct that or is that just not possible?
We can create our own routes, but creating one route is quite time intensive. I would say it takes about 48 to 72 hours of work to create one single route.
So if we need to make 20 routes you can imagine how much time that takes.

We would quite like to implement some ST routes on Iceland for obvious reasons.

Hi

Just a question. Am I able to use promods 2.25 with Special Transport Dlc installed or should I uninstall the Special Transport Dlc first before using promods?

I understand scs did update the version for ets 2 and can cause problem on promods map. I m aware of the need to downgrade this version till the next update on promods.

Thank you and appreciate your time.

On the side note, awesome work on the mods guys. Keep up the awesome work.

Hi,

you do not have to deactivate it, you just do not get any jobs for special cargo until ProMods 2.26 is released.

Best regards,

Just because of curiosity,

what exactly has to be done in order to create one route for special transport DLC?

A lot of definitions and map work. Just investigate one of SCS routes and its files to understand. I'm afraid it's too much info to explain here...
