The runways at PCG go over the A1 IIRC. Also, if the A1 is done then possibly include Parc Astrix, although that may be far too close to PCG to be feasible!

I certainly agree that the northern tip of France needs an overhaul. Quite frankly the SCS parts of France need a Promods makeover (Autoroute Rebuild, anyone ;) ) but I think completing France should be a priority for now.

When you get around to it, I'd love to see the Eiffel Tower light up at night ;)

Then the A26, the Original Country Roads and maybe the A16 were redundant.

Like this.

A16 needs to be in the map because of the Channel Tunnel. Without it, there's no way to get to the tunnel in a way that can be considered reasonably realistic.

You are right, but I think he can make a cut on the A16 under the Country Road to Rouen.

EDIT: Now I know what you mean, you mean if you go from Paris to the Channel Tunnel. Yeah without the A16 it would be unralistic.

For international traffic the A1-A26 road is much more used to get to the channel than the A16 though. Even from Paris, not all that many take the A16 that goes from Paris to Amiens but most take the A1 to at least the A29 or even the A26 as the A16 has no direct link into Paris or to the major ring roads.

A problem that should be solved in the decennium to come, but we're not there yet.

I would say it's more that the A1 is free and the A16 isn't. The A16 also gets to within a Kilometre of the N104.

Maybe adding the A28/A29 (and possibly Amiens? Maybe too close?) could be useful? It hooks up with the A16, A1 and A26, It'd make Rouen and Le Havre more accessible (at the moment you've got to go via Paris or Calais) and make the D925/D79/D940 an option rather than a requirement.

I've got no idea what the space situation around there is like though, this may not be feasible.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!

Er, there is only a short distance of the A1 that is free! It's a toll road from just north of the A26 interchange right the way down to a HUGE toll plaza north of PCG Airport. The A26-A1 route from the Channel Tunnel/Calais ports is more used because a) it is the signed route to Paris b) it's quicker and c) the A1 goes right to Le Peripherique compared to the A16 which sort of gives up before even reaching the N104.

If anything I would say you could do with getting rid of the A16 or, if need be, rebuild the A16 to Amien then, if there's room (ha!), build the A29.

Ah, my mistake. I did have a look for toll booths, but obviously missed them.
