If i already brought the Promods last year 2.43,

Why is it asking me to pay again????

Do you not update previous purchases or do you have to buy again

You basically buy the ProMods to support ProMods. The automatic updates existed earlier, but because many (I think) use ProMods it is no longer so.

Which download method did you use (PayPal or free)?
If PayPal, then go to this link: help.php?mode=nodllink

Hey ned_kelly_3k,

The reason of this is that you are not paying for the mod itself (as ProMods and its addons are free), but rather for the bandwidth of the fast download slot. As such, each time you want to download the mod via the fast option, you need to pay for the bandwidth. ;)
The mod itself was, is, and will always be free.

A bit of a technical question - why .7z over .rar or .zip?

LZMA32 compression makes the files much smaller. With standard RAR or ZIP compression the file would exceed 2GB

Good question.
Once I had it working almost 2 weeks after purchase, when I tested. Was it last year I think? or earlier this year?

Well, we never measured it ourselves, and the Payloadz FAQ doesn't give any specifics either: it only mentions "a pre-determined amount of time". I don't know if the restrictions have gotten tighter since Shiva had that two-week long delay in download, but if not, then 14 days sound like a good upper limit. It's definitely more than 24 hours though, but we'd urge everyone who is buying a fast download to use it up as soon as they can, just to be on the safe side. ;)

I think that from the system's perspective, it's much more important that Payloadz also has a click-limit and IP address monitoring in place as well, to prevent excessive downloading. Those are probably much stricter than the time limit.

JohnBart, click and especially that IP adress limit should be stricter.
