I recall that Mandelsoft once wrote that in the Nordic Scandinavia project in the future a road will be developed along the mountainous terrain, which is quite a painstaking and complex work, has it come to this?
Since it is really expected by the uninhabited beauty of a pristine nature, which in truth is not enough.

Hmmm, maybe E45, E12 or E10?

Since the project got renamed to cover all of Northern Scandinavia a while ago, is there any chance this overview about the planned cities etc. gets updated to show "current progress"?
Or does a "merged map view", including the norwegian parts exist already?

Practically nothing to change in concept map either. The plans remains the same.
And do not confuse with "progress map".

Please note that that progress map is for Sweden only. The Northern Scandinavia project encompasses Norway as well, and we have many plans (both ongoing and to be commenced later) for the region that aren't displayed on this map. While it may be helpful to get a general idea of what may be in store, the content is subject to change and may not display an up-to-date version of our plans and mapping progress.

Thank you, I was just wondering if there was a concept map for Norway as well.
Regarding the current progress, I think a map like the one on the first page of Project Euromir many people would like here as well

Will there a road or ferry connection between Stravenger and Bergen?

Most likely not as that would invoke the "ferry simulator" bug, in which the game will always pick the ferry over the land route as it sees ferries as shorter routes than traveling over land.

It's up to the developers of Norway to make a progress map of Norway. The Sweden progress map is managed by me alone and is still relevant despite not being updated much. The plans won't really change much considering there aren't a whole lot of options when it comes to roads and towns up north.

It's easy to say what people want, but actually making it happen requires time and effort. I would personally rather spend that time developing new areas and I think that goes for most of us developers. Making these maps is quite a lot of work for minimal return since people seem to completely overlook them anyways.
