Don't try to load any savegames inside the Profile with the save/load function.
Instead if you Need to reload, quit the game completly and only load your Profile from the Profile selection.
Then there will be only a Long waiting time in the first oad and not after that, if you don't have any other mods installed which conflicts with ProMods.

OK, I think I may have resolved my slow load times.

I deleted the Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/cache directory. Game loaded slowly once after, but since then has been fast every time.

hi, i decided to download again, and changed the positioning of the files.

Added in 1 minute 47 seconds:
it worked, and I had no more problems in that area
