ProMods v1.5.2 does NOT work with patch 1.9

Look up Dasquirrelnuts on Youtube, you'll find that his latest videos are of patch 1.9 and a beta version of Promods 1.6.

He is showing ETS2 version 1.9 without ProMods enabled

Current mod crashes a lot with certain prefabs we're trying to work out why.

Yes it is the update to Promod to 1.6 to make it compatible with the 1.9 ETS update.

However as SCS release Beta Builds for us to test, the map developers find conversion problems for their maps. That is partly why it is taking so long to get the new update, with the AI completed.

However, SCS are having some problems themselves as well. The most noticeable is the removal of the panel trucks from AI traffic in the current Beta build. They cannot seem to get those particular tractor trailer combos to obey the new AI rules and they just cause major issues.

Hopefully the next week will get these issues sorted. Although I think most of us are waiting on a Blog update from SCS, as well as the official forums. Blog updates tend to arise when major issues occur and progress with the Beta Builds would be major progress at the moment. They have not posted an update for a few weeks now.

If you want to try the new beta 1.9 release from SCS with new AI traffic, you have to disable pretty much all your mods, including ProMods. If you want to continue playing with your mods, including the latest ProMods version (v1.5.2) do NOT install the SCS 1.9 beta.
