It should be possible to fit both in. Colchester sits south of the A14, and Ipswich is north of the A14.

Failing that, stick a poll up on Facebook or another social media.

(besides, the largest company in the area, Hamblion, is based in Colchester.
Remember, the scale is 1:15 (in the UK atleast, in mainland Europe it's 1:19, making it even harder). Fitting two cities the size of them isn't as easy with 22km between them. That'd be about 1,5 kilometres for the A12 between them, not mentioning the fact that'd you'd still have the cities to build. ;)

I came back from my holiday to find the thread locked, but now it is opened again I can post these images of the new speed limits in effect on the single carriageway sections of the A9 between Perth and Inverness:

The sign is duplicated at every entrance and exit point of the single carriageway sections, including the junction access roads and the base signs are also present on the A82 as you traverse the Western Bank of Loch Ness, but here they show the correct UK speed limit of 40mph for vehicles over 7.5T.

The second image shows the signs as you exit the single carriageway sections of A9 and the end of restrictions limit, although it isn't perfect at showing the notification on both sides of the road as they do in both directions.

Hope these images are useful to you in creating new signs, I have never seen signs like these anywhere else in the UK.

Hi, and welcome!

Well, that's interesting, as I'm about to start a rebuild of the A9 Inverness to Perth (which I hope to include as a new city)!

I was aware of the new speed limit trial, and have also seen the signs, but thanks for the photos ;)

Looking forward to seeing a rebuilt A9, it's a stunning part of the country IRL.

Yup, it's 120 miles of stunning road.

Glad you'll find the images useful.

Great work, all the updates look awesome!

Would it be possible to add DIRFT (Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal), it's M1 J18, it has a lot of distribution centres there, many companies from the game could be added there or would it not be correct for the scale of Promods?

Here is a picture of the area http://www.dirft.com/cgi-aerial/#prettyPhoto/1/

Because of the scaling, it'd have to be bundled in with either Northampton or Rugby - but it would be a nice touch...

The only problem with DRIFT (trust me, having driven through it I'd love to see it) is that it's very near to the Catthorpe (J19) interchange of the M1/M6/A14, which to do a proper job of the shambles it is at the moment would take quite a bit of space.
