Will there be snow in Finland north of a certain point like in Iceland?

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Well at certain point there was some talk, that rovaniemi (napapiiri) could be snowy area, butAlexanderPope wrote:Will there be snow in Finland north of a certain point like in Iceland?
i don't think that it's even necessery, because in summer time here is no snow. (not even in rovaniemi )
Maybe that's the reason to use winter mods?

Here in Tornio is still snow!

I'd like to see some of that, maybe not as much as Iceland, but some standard frost and bits of ice on the road wouldn't be bad. Nice addition for Sweden and Norway cities which do pass a certain latitude.AlexanderPope wrote:Will there be snow in Finland north of a certain point like in Iceland?

Well as you know i live 30 kilometers south from tornio, so here is snow as wellMrSimsFaniFIN wrote:Here in Tornio is still snow!
But the main point was that the game is set to summer, so in summer here is no snow.
But if platypus likes to put snow somewhere, it's his decision and i appreciate it.
PS: Sometimes it has snowed on june here, but it's pretty unusual..

I'm personally against snow in northern areas, ETS2 takes place during the middle of summer, judging by the length of the day, so unless you're in the pole you'll only see snow on the top of the mountains.

I don't think I would like to see snow either, for several reasons:
There is a very limited amount of snowy models available, cities won't have much variation. It would be a shame not to take advantage of the new DLC assets as well. And while the northern parts may be snow covered a large part of the year, it's far from being so the whole year. It's really only in the mountains that there is snow all year long. And a snowy part wouldn't be complete without real challenges like really slippery roads, deep snow or snowstorms etc.
But this only my opinion on this, not complaining or anything, I am just trying to help and give my feedback.

ProMods' Sweden plans and progress HERE
For Germans: Even though it might seem like something else, my name is simply another way of saying "cheese balls" in Swedish. Nothing else.
