Really SatNav? Really?

I thought this situation was fool-proof, but it seems that the shorter route is the illogical one...

When you think you've made something fool-proof, along comes a better idiot. :P

Yeah we noticed an increase of SatNav issues since SCS changed something in their satnav code, again *sigh*

Code: Select all

The navigation (GPS) on prefabs has been improved. Now it extracts 'navigation information' directly from prefab navigation curves to determine which patch between nodes are valid.
I will investigate it in the coming days. Possibly just some silly issue but you never know (I dont even know if Holstebro is fixed  )

I just had a delivery from Kristiansand to eAcress at Holstebro and I didn't get any GPS route at all for this trip so it doesn't seems to work.

On a job from Eurogoodies in Geilo ( -1547.61;185.565;-55396.1) to Kristiansand I got no GPS route or ETA info. It's only when I got onto the roundabout north of Kristiansand ( -6136.57;17.9483;-42624.2) that the route showed up, one minute from my destination :( .
They have a similar problem on the Dutch Map, so as stated, it looks like a prefab issue ;)

It seems that the system does not always recognise the ferries between Denmark and Germany. If you are in Malmø or Copenhagen and want to go south, the system wants you to visit Jutland and not use the ferries. In real life it can make sense if you have some cargo to transport which is not allowed on ferries but here in the game no sense at all.
