I play and skin in one computer. My laptop which also has a resolution of 1600x900. Because I'm a bit of a beginner in skinning, I don't need such high resolution.DaStig wrote:Hey Chris,

With 4k resolution I'm referring to the size of the skins I make. And if you ask me, doubling the resolution makes all the difference, especially in the smaller and finer details in a paintjob.

I disagree with you. It's not because you consider yourself a beginner that you don't need those 4k skins. I my opinion, why make them 2k instead of 4k, with the same amount of effort and time. And also, as far as I noticed, these 4k skins don't kill frame rates.
