Space is an issue. 1:20 "or 1:19" scale map.
Not everything can fit.
If only SCS didn't try showing things off by exploding the city sizes... !

I think it's a tight fit, but can still be put in. According to the maps by Volleybal4life we're having the pathetic one-room over D1017 instead of the clearly superior A1. Maybe we could get that demolished and having the correct route from Paris to Lille.

Well... if ProMods decides to erase the small road, then A1 could be possible.
So far, what I have seen. The cities in France DLC are very nice.
I would vote No to redoing them totally.
Rennes ring road is way too big, but it is very nicely done.
In Scandinavia DLC Entry/Exit roads to Göteborg have the same trouble, but not that well done.
And could have been done differently.
Exploding city sizes? not only SCS that does that.

I am definitely for including the A1 and A2 between Paris and the Lille/Belgium area. I might do it sometime in the future. ;)

Nice guys! I would see the A1 in ETS2 and Promods because this is the Highway busiest in Europa !

A1 there would be an excellent addition.

This is kind of how I would imagine it:

There are, however, some problems with this.
Currently, the A1 makes a sharp 150-ish degree turn left. If the A1 were to rebuild to Lille, you would want to get rid of the A29 and A26 in their current form.
The same goes for the A16 near the current A1. Also, the A3 is indicated on the signs at the Porte de Bagnolet (as it should), but there's no A3xA1 interchange. I'm afraid the scale won't allow it.
Now the next problem arises: Poissy is practically cut off from the rest of Paris, and the road network north-west of Paris looks kind of ugly. How would one go about solving that?

Hello. I live in the north of France. For me, build the A1 runaway parallel to the small road is possible and extend the A26 runaway too, always in parallel with the small road. In purple, the toll motorways. In blue sky, free highways.

These are just potential ideas. I have already been in the map editor so I know that some of my ideas are possible but may not be all depending on the scale of the game. To see if all is achievable. Maybe rebuilt Reims and Lille in the future? I have other ideas to rebuilt Dijon and Lyon ;)

The A26 may be included if Calais was rebuilt, along with the A216 and of course improvements to the A16. I cannot tell which would be the best idea, other than having the A1 as a minimum.
