Will you also adjust the speedlimits in the autobahn junctions? First there aren't 40 km/h signs (at least i haven't seen them yet) and It's not good for the speed in the game. Round about 60 km/h should be fine and the area this applies a bit smaller. I mean, if the routing is straight forward the KI should be able to accelerate then.

Great great news finaly a Germany rework. Especially Germany is such an important part for the european longdistance traffic, but its looking very unrealistic in the vanilla version... Finally you guys will change that ;)

Great news. For now almost every route in ETS 2 comes thrugh Germany and present road network is just boring and completly unrealistic.
I know that it might be too early for this kind of questions but are you planning to make signs at the lands border and, especially, former border between West Germany and GDR? Border crossings rebuilded into gas stations etc.

Say hello to this beauty!

Image

The landscaping is far from done here, but the groundwork is getting there.

We are now completely rebuilding the Ruhr area. Before anyone asks: no, we are not going to add more cities in the Ruhr area (actually, that was not even the plan at all). We are currently only planning to rebuild the Autobahns and landscape. This will making driving through Germany less boring. We did re-locate a few cities in the Ruhr area so they are fit into their respectful locations...

Actually, so far, we've not used ANY new standard SCS interchange prefab for the ARP! (only a few for placeholders) That means that every single interchange is tailored to it's surroundings. Pretty impressive, eh?

And some more pics to finish:

I can't help noticing the lack of Ausfahrt signs, and trees/bushes close to the motorway.

It looks so great though Maarten. What are your next plans after the Ruhr regions for Germany?
