Yes, North East is a no go area by ferry or driving, as soon as the snow hits. I am kind of happy we both have the same errors and it is not just my pc problems. Also, do you have the same ferry issues with the other long far away destinations?

Just post your game log and we can take a look on it. Months ago I used to play ROS with PM and RM as well, but I don´t know if the snow terrain fix is still required to avoid game crashes and black terrain beside the roads in the snowy north.

best regards

Frachti, in the past I had only black textures here and there without the snow-fix but never a crash.
The loading order with Promods and other maps has changed, right ? (ref : ROS readme text)
Now the ROS files should be on top when they used to be at the bottom when using other maps.

When I updated this fix, I made some tests. In the northern cities the game crashed since the snow cover on some road and cross road prefabs did not fit with PM prefabs with identical file names. So the fix also prevents some game crashes in the north, but I do not know if it is the same with the latest ROS. But if there are game crashes posting a game log is very basic for taking a look into it.

best regards

Ok I made a ferry-train trip to Vorkuta then Labythnangi to Severomorsk and then Severominsk (both by ferry- boat).
No crash and no missing snow textures.
This with Sgate weather mod by Blackopen.

I tried ROS 3.3 without the snow terrain fix not that long ago and while the game didn't crash it made the sea in Murmansk show up in places it shouldn't. Not tried v3.4 without it.

@RikkyBobby13, can you post a full list of all the mods and their load order you're using as well? Might help narrow it down, as the only ferry issue I've been getting recently is "<ERROR> Missing target link for ferry destination! (kdop_link.ferry.plymouth)", which seems to appear in just about every profile I use.

So maybe it's related to where the Promzona fix is located in the loading order.
I've put it at the very top of all map files

Hello, is here someone who could help me with my map load order. I tried it but the game crashes if I load my profile. I want to play with Promods, RusMap, Russian Open Spaces, Project Balkans,EAA Map (and maybe if it is possible with R.O.C/P.R.C and PJ Indo Map. It would be very nice if someone could help me.
Thanks in advance.
