I am a citizen of Kazakhstan, Central Asia or rather do not understand your attitude to Russia Why do you see in it a threat or something evil? In complete peaceful country! And the fact that you have associations with Russian vodka, I do not agree! in any country lacking drinking alkagol people, and that is no reason to think so much about the country!

I've been to Astana, Kazakhstan. The country is a little weird but that's nothing unexpected. People seemed cool though.

Many Russians are OK as well but not all. Esp. the government.

The problem I have with Russia is their so-called 'legitimate interests'*, blatant disregard for their international treaties, constant lies and manipulations and crawling occupations in Ukraine and Georgia, most of all.

I think you need to look up what colonising means.
It means taking over a country and running it as if it was your own
Iraq, Syria and Ukraine all have independent governments that make their own choices
