Wow, absolutely fabulous. I can't wait to drive around a realistic UK. Dover is a mess as it is and completely inaccurate, as are the Channel Tunnel portals. Urgh. Hope that gets fixed soon... The Dartford Crossing is quite a major bridge and tunnel, and I'm surprised it wasn't added by SCS. Can't wait for more Scottish add-ons and an improved London (not to mention the addition of new towns). Oh, and just me being pedantic, but some of the village names around the Grimsby area are incorrectly spelt if someone would like to check on that. Thank you for an improved Britain!

Oxford! Newbury! (great shefford if you find the space *hehhehehe, my home town*)
Sooooo Happy that Promods is redoing the UK
(try and make Isle of Lewis aswell, I will hug for dayyyys!)
EDIT:

EDIT:
the traffic (especially around Botley and Milton Interchanges is bewildering and I recommend using the M40 or Backroads through the Cotswolds, Beautiful Drive and avoids traffic (apart from the odd tractor on the A40!)
Welp! I assumed, like other forums I've used they clump them together. Thanks Unknown admin!

YESS! A LOCAL LAD!Ethan_Warren wrote:For the southerly area for the UK, i've got some great ideas that would be awesome to implement if possible.
1. A34 dual-carriage way
2. On the A34 there is a town called "Didcot". That town is a major national distribution hub for many firms including Tesco, Bookers, Asda etc...
3. Adding cities along the M4. This motorway in the stock SCS map is left bare. You could well consider including Bath, Swindon, Reading etc.
EDIT:
Please, oh please build Newbury, it would act as a brilliant junction as the A34/A339 are less than 4/5 Miles from M4 J14Neppolomon wrote:
1. M3 and South East Rebuilding - I have pretty much finished Basingstoke, a large modern town in Hampshire near where I live. This will act as the starting point for the A339 to Newbury and the A33 to the M4 at Reading.

This is Literally never a good ideaKubaJAM wrote:I would definitely suggest adding the A34 from Winchester to Oxford as it's a hugely important southern trunk route, and we always use it when travelling north to south instead of the motorways.

I've just remembered one of my biggest bugs. Not to be too pessimistic, I love the whole rebilding and the new 2.2 UK looks amazing! But I do dislike the issues of Speed Limit Signs. In the UK, the speed limit signs are always in pairs. Always. The 60 mph marker (single road) is also not a sign for 'end of no overtaking', which I HATE SCS for doing. Just a message to be passed onto the future.
(P.S. I can make some signs if needed for the UK, I seem to know the complex typefaces and colours well according to my friends)

I've been away from ETS2 for a while: now, having seen just how far things have progressed, I'm glad that I've picked up my 'truck keys' and look forward to driving on some 'proper' looking UK roads! Fantastic job you're doing guys, keep it up!

I've been through all 83 pages and I am really loving the progress being made. SCS's rendition of the UK doesn't look anything remotely like it, aside from a few obvious landmarks here and there. But from these pictures, it's immediately obvious that these are re-recreations of UK roads.
Has it been decided whether Colchester or Ipswich is being re-created? I live in Sudbury so not too far away from either. I'm rooting for Ipswich as it's a bit more diverse and it could be linked quite easily to Felixstowe, i'd imagine. Ipswich also has some nice modern buildings like UCS Waterfront on the A1156.

Due to the scale of the map, neither will be developed; there's simply no space for them. Instead, we're considering adding Norwich.

This may be a pipe dream, but is there room for Southend on the map? Although they are just 27km apart in real life, Chelmsford is built to the north of its main road (the A12) and Southend is south of its main road (the A127/A13). The two junctions should also be do-able on the M25, by either moving J30 to about halfway between current 30 and 29 IRL or moving the Dartford crossing about.
if not, the A130 off the already-built junction for Chelmsford should be OK as a connector

Interestingly enough, I've just looked through all 83 pages too!
As someone who lives in the Plymouth area, I'm very impressed with the level of detail that Ivan has gone to, well done indeed!
Just a question, did the Tamar Bridge leading in to Cornwall get added to the Plymouth scenery?
I hope the release of this won't be too long! It'll be a major improvement for the UK ETS2, well done to all concerned!
