Thanks for your post, this information will come in handy when we move to this area
I can provide pictures, local landmark information and I also spoke to a friend who has a dashcam to take video, if any of that can serve to help.

As an aside, while on my last trip from Salmon Arm last week, I also realised that elevation data for the roads would be cool as there are lots of inclines and declines. There's also numerous landmarks along the way as well, such as a restaurant called "The Burner" and a couple of small towns along the way with their own highlights. 10km out of town, there is a couple of campgrounds, one called "Smokey Bear" with a GIANT sized smokey the bear totem. There is also a random giant chair, elevated into the air at some point.

CP Rail runs also the entire distance, going through mountains and criss-crossing rivers and marshes. A popular area 50km out, called "Three Valley Gap", will be fun for modellers as well, although tricky to say the least. Come to think of it, there is a lot of modelling to do for those that are into that sort of thing. I almost forgot the Railway Museum we have located on the main drag. The main train yard is rather sizable as well and I forgot another bridge coming off of Highway 1. Suffice to say, for a small town, there is quite a bit from a development perspective.

Between the rivers, lakes, Mountains, roads and rail, abandoned and active sawmills, it will be stunning for players to see if it's pulled off. My hat's off to all you folks, the work you've all done so far is awesome!

Cheers :ugeek:

Your works are fantastic and bring me back to that magnificient summer at BC province. I wish if you can do some work on the TCH-1 from Hope to Cache Creek.

Sad to hear what happened with Lytton during those fires. But I can't wait to see more of Canada in 1.1.0.

Glad to hear about the extension of BC-99, and I am curious to know whether there are plans to extend BC-99 from the other side, connecting downtown and the YVR. BC-99 is also connected to SW Marine Drive, which can be extended to UBC. I can take pictures and landmarks of UBC and the location of the factories over there if there are any requirements.

For those wondering when the update for ATS v1.42 will release, we've decided to go straight to PM:Canada v1.1.0 rather than releasing a v1.0.3 compatibility patch, this means the update for v1.42 may have a bit more of a delay but it also means that overall 1.1.0 will release sooner than if we had gone to 1.0.3 first
