Hey, i have a problem. I did everything what is needed to start editing, as YouTube tutorials do. When i start a game and type "edit" in the console, it just crashes the game, and i have to turn off the game. Whats the problem could be? I use Legal Steam version. Also i have tried this with cracked version some time earlier and it was working..

Make sure your mod folder is empty when you start, it will load all the mods you have in that folder.

Hello. I have a problem with saving and loading map. I think I did everything properly, but when I save and leave editor, and than go back my progress is gone. Here's what I exactly do:

How to save your work:

Place a road by choosing new item and road (E and 1 on keyboard).
And save your map in the editor that I will call “test”(put the name of you project map), click on save map (or recompute if you add a factory), then close the editor.

I put road in random place, saved it, editor closed:

1 In the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Euro Truck Simulator 2\base\map
2 Copy the folder test and the file test.mbd in your "project map/map" folder

Done. The only difference is that I don't use desktop to keep maps, but I don't think that this is the problem:

3 Then in the “project map” folder select all the files, right click to add in archive, select ZIP, and store, name your archive “test.scs ».

4 Now cut the new “test.scs” file and paste it in the C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator/mod

5 Start the game and in the console write: “edit test”.

I tried both:

Code: Select all

edit test

and

Code: Select all

edit europe

But when tried second one, map loaded without errors and... without my road: http://pl.tinypic.com/r/omkjk/8

• When I hit "save map" button, I am unable to choose name. Map just saves and appears in ets 2/base/map folder as europe.mdb and europe folder.
• I use steam ETS version
• "Run as administrator" in ets2.exe proporties is checked

Problem solved. Here's another. As I said i have a Steam version ETS2 and i don't have a DLC. Am I going to edit a Lithuania , and i wan't to connect it with poland But i can't becouse i don't have eastern Poland. Can i somehow dowload a full map with that part of map?

Google will help you, but I suggest you buy the DLC. Because when you want to release Lithuania, the users will also need to have the DLC.

Is it posible to run ETS2 in wondowed mode? Becouse then i press item properties it pops not in the editor and it just sucks.
