Are there plans to build the E6 route from Trondheim further up to the existing Northern regions of Norway, so that a domestic journey between North and South becomes possible, without the need of transiting through Sweden and Finland? And what about Northern Sweden, region Kiruna / Gällivare, perhaps with a border crossing to Narvik, Norway?

It's on the (long term) wish list, and has been there for a long time, but this is a very time intensive area to develop due to the landscape

It think it may take many years before we see a new Scandinavia DLC from SCS

Depends a bit where SCS goes after the Moscow DLC.
Do they go to west Balkans? or Norway/Sweden? The first would mean that the latter would come way later.

Well, since SCS has left the oldest parts of the map quite untouched until today, it could also be a rebuild of the Benelux countries. After the reskin of Germany, that would be a logical choice.

There is no ferry connection in the from version 2.40 onwards between Helsinki-Stockholm, Tallinn-Stockholm and Stockholm-Mariehamn (-Turku). Which were still in the version 2.33. Helsinki has now only ferry port to Tallinn but another ferry port (to Stockholm) is removed from version 2.40 and later.

However, when the ports exist, then the ferry routes are easy to add.
