I have downloaded the 6 parts for the mod but I do not know what to do next. I find the installation tutorial on the forum confusing because suddenly they have a full zip instead of the .001, .002, etc. and I can't find an extractor like the earlier versions either.

Please help.

You must have the latest WinRar or 7-zip version in order to extract the files.

For those of you still having issues extracting the FREE (Multi-Part) 7-Zip version of ProMods 2.00

1) Install the NEWEST version of 7-Zip from here
2) Place this tool in your extraction folder
3) Ensure that all your file names are WHOLE as such:
promods-v200.7z.001
promods-v200.7z.002
promods-v200.7z.003
promods-v200.7z.004
promods-v200.7z.005
promods-v200.7z.006
4) Avoid DUPLICATES or files with other names such as:
promods-v200 (3).7z.001
5) Execute the self-extractor tool. It should unpack flawlessly.

(Note this is not valid for the PAID version, that should be extract per part (part1 followed by part2), manually from within the 7-Zip manager)

The reason for this is that your 7zip or WinRAR is out of date so it does not recognize the files (Can't say sure for 7zip as I only use WinRAR). And if it doesn't recognize the files it will show the first file as .001 but if it is a known file type then it should show up as a .7z. And the reason for there being no extractor is that it simply complicated things.

Thanks for the extractor because I just can't find it anywhere on the website

It's because we didn't include it this time. We added it as an experiment because some people attempted to extract the extractor.

I think we should add it back

Can I ask what the .002 to .006(?) files have to do? I have only got .001 installed and ProMods fully works...
