Wind and Retarder Sounds

Hi, newbie here. I would like to say that I really am enjoying ProMods 2.0. I would like to know if there is any way to disable the wind sound and if there is a way to get the old retarder sound back. The wind sound is kind of annoying and the retarder sound sounds like the brakes are running metal on metal.

we haven't changed any of those sounds, with the wind sound do you mean the winds in Iceland?

What mods are you using? ProMods does not change the retarder sound

Since I have installed ProMods 2.0, there is a wind sound when you are driving along inside the cab. The faster you go, the worse it seems to get. Also, the retarder sound is different, kind of scratchy sounding. I thought maybe I had a corrupt file or install so I have completely removed all my mods and re-installed the game. I even deleted my profile and started over. These two sounds are still there. They weren't there before I added 2.0. Any ideas?

These sounds were added by SCS a few updates back. Has nothing to do with ProMods.

Actually they weren't. I removed the Promods 2.0 files because of all the bugs and the wind and retarder noises went back to normal.

That's because in the Def generator you increased the volume of cabin noises...

That's what I had thought also. I had re-made my def file in order to make sure I didn't accidentally increase the volume of the cab noise. Everything was set to default. I did notice when I extracted the def file, there was a folder named world and inside that is a file called sound_item_data.promods.sii which has a cold wind sound inside it. I suspect this is what I keep hearing. Since removing the mod, the wind noise is gone. Nobody at the scs forum knows anything about the wind sound inside the cab.
