Because ATS map is so good that it doesn't require its map mod like ETS2.
ATS improvements can always be made.
*cough*placement of Carson City*cough*
Ok, it's not that bad anymore, but a little shift towards north and connect US 50 to the city itself.
And US 95 in Nevada ingame? It's anything but that road.
For an example.

Some places could be a bit hard to mod, because of space restraints.
But the above? should work.

And the road "CA-150" that goes east from Fresno? IRL it never connects to US 395, but ends at Kanawyers.

Haven't had the time to check ATS after the rescale, did SCS fix the intersection issue on the highways? As only interchanges are allowed on the highway system in US
I won't comment on the wast amount of repetitive roads/bridges in ATS :P

SCS fixed interstates having intersections as it seems (I had a look at the map in the beta version but didn't actually play it yet). :)

Only thing that's still bad is that famous T-cross in Tonopah...

Tonopah....
I forgot to add that to my list earlier today.

LoaderSaints and plykkegaard, SR 99 in Stockton is the exception. "it has level crossings"

Atleast as far as I have seen.
ATS map is nice, but it can always have fixes and mods.
Atleast so far in the beta and after it too, I think.
So far what I have seen, it's very nice.

I'd welcome more destinations in the various states already in the game, fit in some more if its possible. add in some roads that aren't commonly used, some of the National or state parks would also be a nice touch, as ATS already has the Grand Canyon included.

Tonopah IRL has at-grade intersections, because no interstate runs through it as seen here:

You are right on the SR 99 though, it shouldn't have at-grade intersections even if it isn't an interstate.
