Paying for the ProMods Map - New Version

Once paid for I feel that I "own" a copy of the map, and should be able to download freely. The exception(s) would be: a totally new map build from scratch, add-on maps (for new DLC - expanding the original region,) a new map for a new game such as ATS.

Must we always pay for new versions or updates to the map?

You pay a small fee for the download option not the map and it's an easy way to contribute
Use the free download and donate what you like instead

Also we get charged for bandwidth consumption, so free downloads would mean that it would cost us copious amounts of money.

The map itself is free. It is the high speed download you are truly paying for!
