I would like to know whether Promods will work on ETS2 1.23 Public Beta!

Although not totally dis-functional, you will experience crashes in some areas as well as broken navigation on jobs, so no, ProMods 2.01 is not compatible with ETS2 version 1.23, and will not be until the 2.02 compatibility update is released. That will not happen until 1.23 comes out of beta and we sort out serious issues that beta testing has uncovered.
