Also for anyone asking about the trucks

Code: Select all

Regarding the questions about truck licensing and Peterbilt 389;

Peterbilt 389 is still under construction. Please note that we need to prepare three separated models (each with multiple versions of cabins): low/mid poly AI traffic truck, high poly trucks, which the trucker will be driving, and the high poly interiors for the in-cabin camera, for each cabin variant.

Truck licensing progress - We are negotiating with multiple partners, The licencing process is the long run one, ant it is extremely appreciating diplomacy, secrecy and responsibility.
Further trucks will be announced/ confirmed only under the circumstances agreeded with the particular manufacturer. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

I think this is a smart move from SCS, and good for their business in the long run.

I am very much looking forward to this. SCS Software are learning more on the way as they keep developing. I like it :D

Damn, I'm very happy. California was waaaay to small, despite being the third largest of the states. Anyways, isn't that an opportunity for ProMods ATS (Might not be at all :mrgreen: )

YAY! now they can do some wide-scale reconstruction of the map, to make their road system a bit more like it should be. Like say finish I-40 to LA. Eliminate that back-road to Camp Verde that would be forest roads IRL that means plain dirt mostly ill-maintained only a ATV could get through all the way. Change city locations as many of them are now far from where they really are. Lots of work to do with this kind of change I hope they actually do it like it should be. Add some Elevation to the maps, put in more of the actual highways that are used in these states.

Do you mean 10 40 ends at 15 in bakersfield. I do agree 10 should make its way to 5 and possibly add the 210. When we lived in Cali we used to take it to go to Arizona

great news. i want my trucking to feel substantial, not a 5 minute stroll around the block when it's supposed to be cross states. i'm one of those that drives from iceland to moscow in a whole real life day, and i'd say that's the core audience.
