Some areas are a bit different, maybe PB has 1-2 cities we don't have. Maybe we have some other cities they don't have instead. You can check yourself what is the difference. But yes - it doesn't add much new terrain (that's my experience). And after we release 2.3, our Balkans will be huge and in the very latest quality.
PB area doesn't allow us to cooperate. They don't work on new areas that doesn't exist in ProMods (Portugal is free, Ukraine is somewhat free, Turkey, almost whole Bulgaria and so on. And that "free" area was much bigger years ago, when PB was started). Instead, they decided to change our map. IIRC, their first version made our Maribor or Ljubljana look less realistic and just worse in terms of visuals (that's a personal feeling of course).blackrider88 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2018 15:04I will never understand why map teams don't work more closely to create a smooth, good-looking final map. It's always conflicts and mapping overlaps. Why?
So since the very beginning, they aren't an addon that expands our map but just rebuilds it (which is a waste of time in my opinion). It's fine to rebuild SCS areas (like Czech Rebublic or Slovakia maybe?) but rebuilding a rebuild is pointless, unless you can make it even more awesome. I really like when there are new maps in a good quality that add missing countries (like RusMap). But in this case, cooperation wasn't possible, unfortunately.
Cooperating with RusMap is possible as you can see, we only need to cooperate in border sectors, which isn't that hard.
That's just my point of view on this case
