I couldn't find a better topic to post it in, so here it goes:

Some time ago I found out that if the language in your game is set to German and you enable the name localisation option, Kielce is translated to Kjelzy. While I'm not a German native speaker, I grew up in said city and attended to schools with an extensive German language programme, and none of the German speakers that were visiting us used the form 'Kjelzy'. Moreover, as far as I understand, Kjelzy was only used in late 19. and early 20. century, mainly during the partitions. German Wikipedia uses Kielce exclusively, so does the German consulate in the town.

I can't really say it's a bug, but you could definitely argue that the translation should be changed in favour of Kielce, especially when you consider the fact the names Ljubljana and Bratislava were left as they are (instead of using Laibach and Pressburg).

Actually I've never heard any german using those old german city names for any of those cities. They are veeeerry outdated.

I was just wondering.. any chance you guys will update Wrocław any time soon? Or even within 1-2 years.

Wroclaw hasn't been touched since ETS2 release, its looking sad when compared to the other stuff.

Wroclaw is pretty up-to-date. I think Poznan deserves more attention...

Poznań has never been rebuilt by PR or PM
