Michelin saved my day on Iceland

On Iceland I had picked up 22 ton of fileted fish from one of the northernmost harbours on Iceland. But due to my truck wearing the cheapest D-graded ingame Trailmaster-tires, I could not get the truck and trailer back up over the slippery hills.

So I was stuck. Only one road in and out of that area :-(

But thanks to a local repairshop and much better graded Michelin-tires I managed to climb the hills :-)

A fun and frustrating trip.

So it's worthy actually buying this yet-another-stupid dlc, since these paying P2W tires has better grip ?

Just a question: do you use automatic or manual transmission?

@Akula_
I have this DLC for free, it's not SCS fault you missed it.
You can just use a mod that adds new tires and I guess some of them will have even better rating than Michelin ones.

@clauslr
I hope you enjoyed the challenge ;)

Nice story, but is that true that tires really matter?! It would be great addition to more realism in game. I've mapped Iceland before with Ohaha's FH Classic 6x6 and had no issues. :D

I use automatic. Allthough I have both a wheel, gearshifter and pedals, real gearshifting doesn't work very well for me, when I'm not situated in an actual car of truck. I use a button on the gearshifter for the gaspedal and another button for the brake. And several other buttons for the other braking possibilities. So it is probably no wonder that I couldn't make to the top :-)

Indeed I did. The feeling of frustration and success was real :-) And it made for some great shots.

In this case it obviously did matter.

This. If you use manual transmission it will be easier dealing with ice.
