How on earth can you run out of diesel.
Every 100 to 200km there is a petrol station. You do realize that ETS2/ATS is not like GTA where you just push the accelerator and steer. You also need to keep you're eyes on the dashboard needles. The default info screen from the Scania dashboard even predicts how far you can drive based on the current fuel levels.

Running out of diesel is in real life a very expensive event as the mechanic needs to bleed out the whole fuel system. Some emergency services aren't even equipped to bleed out a truck, but only regular cars. Then you get towed to a service garage. Which is very expensive, but the company can also loose a contract if the delivery is too late or can expect heavy fines.. One of our trucking companies clients gives a driver only a single second change. When a second out of diesel event occurs, the driver is fired because of bad performance. They are also required to wash the truck before every haul, perform basic maintenance checks like oil level, a walk around to check the lights, tire profile and possible blisters, etc.

I am not a real trucker, I am a gamer that likes to drive trucks, I love promods, I love MP.
MP is all about fun where you drive how you want without causing grief to others, I have made 2 drivers in ETS2, 1 for MP and other for promods as I like too keep it separate as MP does not allow any modifications to the base game

Thank you

Still, when there's only 10% of fuel left, the gauge of the GPS screen turns red. Too me is doesn't sound like fun to run out of gas. Especially when you're in a convoy..
On the other hand, time in MP goes very slowly, so the time lost when towed doesn't make you late. When you drive contracts, job time is set in absolute computer time.
If have used a few contracts to explore a lot of roads without loosing too much time..
