ProMods

Well I need help...question is how to install ProMods ? I download file ProMod def.I activate that mod in my new profile and my games crashes.Please help

You didn't finish the install process.
After downloading the def file, you need to download the main mod, (step 2 in Download)

After downloading the 3 files, you have to extract the first part (the other 2 parts will extract automatically), and then copy the 2 new files into Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> mod.

So you need all 3 files, not only the def file.

Hi, I am really confused on how to get this working. I have downloaded the step 1, and all the three links on step 2 but the next bit confuses me. I have got one scs file from step one then I have got three of those map scs files and three of the other scs files from step 2. Really frustrated could someone break it down to simple, easy steps for me. I am connected to steam, had 1.1 pro mod and Going East DLC. On latest update for ets 2 as well. Thanks.

You have these 3 rar files.

Open part1 with winrar and select all files

Drag them to the mod folder

get the promode-def.scs in the mod folders (now you have 3 scs files in total + a read me file).


now you can start and play promods.

Nico I have done this, all looked great, tried to quick travel to another garage and my game crashed suggestions?

Post your game.log.txt after the crash - so we can take a look why it crashed.

Where can I get my game.log.txt?

It's in "My Documents / Euro Truck Somulator 2" - where your mod folder is located too.
