Thankyou for the update, enjoying the challenging roads, figured I'd take as long a load as I could really and get more deliveries in the journey, plan route, drop off at various points, job done! :D

Found a little problem, broken road at this point, gap between main road and off side road.

My truck and steering wheel took a beating on that part of the road, that's probably why road is shown as broken in the gps. I probably got 100% damage. Always follow gps if you are in a hurry :lol:.

I crawled along there at around 8mph, left it in 5th low and let it rumble along this road, my poor steering wheel got jolted so kept speed down, no damage done at all thankfully. I also used the side bits occasionally and did some rally driving Gr8 Steppe style LOL

I like the idea of roads in a realistically bad condition in and of itself, but I would suggest marking it on the GPS, but adding a GPS warning sign for the extreme road conditions, similar to what e.g. ProMods has done on several places in Iceland!

Good idea to set the transmission in manual and use higher gears to maintain the speed. I pulled another load on that part and it's not that bad if you go slow, and having 8x8 and locking diffs helps with the traction. ;)

Are you planning to connect The great steppe to the Map of the republic of Kazakhstan?

The Map of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a standalone map so there will be no connection between the two map.

I seem to remember Roman saying he planned to include parts of his older Republic of Kazakhstan Map in this The Great Steppe Map, but he will surely enlighten us more himself when he sees these posts.
