Hi,

you have to downgrade to 1.30 in steam - ProMods 2.26 (current version) just works with 1.30 (not with the current game version 1.31).

For some reason (I have redownloaded Promods twice today after the update) Winrar is giving Checksum Errors. I have the def file but that's the only one. Is it due to server load? I don't recall this happening before.

dont know winrar but no problems with 7zip

OK tried 7ZIP, with both the FM and other option in the .exe list

Data error with the map, model1, media, every time I try to extract.

I'll try restarting and see if that helps

Running an i5 3570, 16GB RAM, 120GB SSD and a 1 and 2TB HDD so it's no slouch. Also a 1080ti but I'm sure that doesn't influence this.

First of all my best regards to you, your work is really great.
Secondly, I've got a question about payment method if I choose paid download: when I enter on the payment site I'm offered to choose either enter my paypal account (if I've got the registered one) or pay via credit card. Then I've choosen payment via credit card, clicked "continue" button and the system on the next page offered me to create paypal acount whatever. The question is - is there any way to pay via credit card bypassing registration in paypal? I don't want to create paypal account and tell them my personal highly sensitive data such as my passport series/number, date of birth and name anyway.
If the anwer is negative maybe your team can think about more comfortable payment method for paid download, which is not connected with paypal.

Can't you just select 'Don't have a PayPal account' to pay through PP without creating an account with them?

I don't know what this means. What is "FM"? What is the ".exe list"?

Sounds like you have an incomplete or corrupted download. You can try the "Fast Option" download again, but given what seems like a download problem I would recommend the "Free Option" (multi-part) download because it won't cost you more money if it fails. Please also download the "ProMods 2.27 file testing tool". Once you have all parts of the multi-part archive downloaded, test the multi-part archive with the testing tool to ensure all parts downloaded correctly, re-download any parts which do not pass the test. This method of download and testing is described in the How To Install & Update ProMods [2.27] Tutorial.

When I downloaded 7Zip I had two exe's.

7zFM.exe and 7zG.exe.

OK I'll try the free option next, and that tools, cheers.

Edit: OK after downloading it again (paid option) I have got every file extracted apart from models1. I'll keep trying. Testing tool had 7 errors.

OK third download lucky, everything extracted, that pesky model1.
