1, Is it suppose to be vanilla SCS trailer in the Cargo & Trailer pack with the replacement DEF?
2, With the Cargo & Trailer pack it is near impossible to connect with the trailers when using "Advanced Trailer Coupling" so either something has changed or ATC is not entire compatible.
I haven't had this problems with earlier versions of Trailer & Cargo pack

The trailers in the ProMods TCP are Advanced Coupling compliant, but the Krone 4-axle trailer is known to have collision issues with the standard truck chassis height.
That particular trailer is designed for a low-deck chassis. The trailer is supposed to get a rework of its collision model so it's less of a hassle for standard chassis, but that hasn't happened yet.
Thankfully, you can switch the trailer model for cargoes using the Krone 4-axle trailer using the gear icon when picking the job up from a company yard.
