hi ! i tried download the map, but somehow i managed to change a old file of the promodmap to a notebook file. now when i am trying to download new version of map the file downloads as a notebook file and i get a error trying to install the map. it doesnt help if i delete all my mods in mod map and try download again. anyone have an idea?

Do you mean notepad file? If so, it's easy. You right click the file(s) you've downloaded, and select it to open with 7zip (or WinRAR, if you're that type of person )

yes notepad. when i open the file only a chinese notepad page comes up. i dont find any options to open it as a another file or program. i use 7 zip. i can only save it as a internett link or save the notepad picture..

I guess you assigned .zip / .scs / .7z or some other archive formats to Notepad.
But anyway, you still should be able to right-click -> open with 7-zip.

And a tip for the future:
Never tick Always use the selected program to open this kind of file when opening an "unknown type" file

I think I understand from this that you cannot even download the files, right? You should try downloading them with another browser then.

yes correct, when i download it it comes in this formate. i can try another browser,, didnt think about that! thanks

didnt work, it still download as notepad...

Did you read my post?

Have you tried clicking out of the new "notepad" tab and clicking download again? It might take a few tries to get it right.

hi didnt see your answer. when i try open the file in winrar or the 7 zip it comes up either in a damage formation or open again as notepad. wont work with saving the file as a winrar before downloading either. i realy want this to work..

Edit:
i have tried open the file in winrar and 7 zip. i only get damage file error in winrar and 7 zip opens the notepad file only. even when i save the file in a other browser as a winrar file it somehow becomes a notepad file when it is finished download. this happens only to the 2.part. the other files downloads correctly and as a winrar format.
