Yes M means mötesplats / mødesplads .. literally translated "meeting point".
It is very common in the Nordic countries on narrow (forest roads). It allows you to park a car so that you can overtake because the rest of the road is too narrow to allow passing.

Purno this is great, but is there going to be map increse cuz iceland is way beyond ETS 2 map?
Hello, Purno.
First of all, very great work, as always! Can't wait to drive to such exclusive land, as Iceland!
So, have you already found the snow road textures? If not, than you can take some materials from ETS (or GTS) Mario Map v14 or even from 18 WoS Extreme Trucker, if i'm right.
And for more realism I will glad to see snowdrifts near snow roads (as on screen). I hope, you can insert it in ETS2.
Also, for Icelandic "F" roads: As I understand, "F" roads are extreme roads in Iceland, which are mostly for 4x4 vehicles?
If I'm right, that that kind of prefabs will be useful for Icelandic "F" roads?
Want to note: These are even with sound of cracking ice! (used, as mover)
Prefab with resting place (marked with red round). You can see also snowdrift models. (Image below)
And this models (I mean, crashed vehicles) also will useful for Icelandic "F" roads? (Maybe even not only for Iceland)
Note: In evening (since 20:00) I had heared crying wolf's sound.
Ice textures (might be useful, for example, for frozen ponds or lakes):
Also you can take snow rock models from this map (or from 18 WoS Extreme Trucker). I think, this is, what you need.
To conclude: I know, that model/building/texture conversion from older games is not easy (especially prefabs), but I want to help you to find materials, which you need. I hope, that this post will helpful.
And I know, that ETS (GTS) Mario map is very unrealistic!

That's all pretty interesting stuff, but I'm only a simple mapper. I can't make these models or prefabs, so I'll have to rely on the others of the team for such tasks. And the few people who have the tools and skills for it, also have a lot of other stuff on their plate.

Besides, if you use any of this, it would make ownership of the original games a legal requirement in order to run ProMods.Purno wrote:That's all pretty interesting stuff, but I'm only a simple mapper.
