Official Germany Rebuilding by SCS

Hey folks,

Now that SCS has officially confirmed the gradual rebuilding of vanilla Germany (and the rest of the base game world in the very long run), can you shed some light on the effects the official rework will have on ProMods Germany? My understanding is that the next game update will touch up on some of the northern parts of Germany; do you have any ideas at this point how much of the Autobahn Rebuilding Project will be affected by this?

Well, we will probably do the same as we do with DLC's: merge the best of both maps

I would say that SCS won't add anything new. I think that they will only rebuild current cities and roads so ProMods cities like Flensburg, Bremerhaven or future Cuxhaven won't be much affected by this updated but for example Hamburg will. It's simply up to ProMods developers which parts will they decide to keep in the mod and which ones will be overwritten. (Btw, new SCS Hamburg looks great. :D)

I sincerely hope that Promods will not make the mistake of removing its Germany in favor of the new Germany scs, it would be stupid. I think Promods needs to copy its content and update it with all the new assets. If it's going to be like her, that would be great! Only old areas of promods should be deleted, in no case should the work stop.

We are not removing ProMods Germany, we are merging ProMods Germany with the new SCS Germany.

I do think that SCS could do very detailed, but they have to think of consumers hardware limitations.
Not all play with the top of the line PC's.

Well, sorry to say this for SCS but because they can't use new assets of the DLCs, the pics of their blog still look like about 90% Promods quality. I think if they'd do it quick, you might be able to consider Stuttgart and Dresden by them and maybe the Ruhrgebiet... though it didn't look like they were going to alter the road network and these standard cities are horrible... even updated

Now the Rader Hochbrücke (Rader High bridge) looks more detailed and realistic than the old odd one near city Rendsburg between Hamburg and Germany/Denmark border on the Autobahn A7. :)

Overtaking prohibited for lorries and vehicles with tandem
Speed limit:
100 Km/h otherwise 60 Km/h max for vehicles with heavier than 7.5 tons
100 Km/h, 80 Km/h and 60 Km/h limit for everyone (except for above 7.5 tons) depends by the weather conditions (windy, snow and ice etc.).

I hope this bridge will be replaced in ProMods future release (might be not in version 2.30, depends!). I'm glad to SCS for rebuilding germany.
