Which one?

Hi, I currently have ProMods 2.27 installed and I am on Euro Truck Simulator 2 (V1.31.2.2s) (64 Bit).
My question is that I was considering changing my graphics mod from the Realistic Graphics Mod (V2.0.2) with the ProMods Compatibility Add-On to ''Real Textures (Project Next-Gen Graphic Mod) (V1.2) By DamianSVW''.
I am not sure if I should do so because I'm not sure if the files from ''Real Textures (Project Next-Gen Graphic Mod) (V1.2) By DamianSVW'' will overwrite the existing ProMods 2.27 graphic files themselves, if that makes sense.
Should I make a backup of my game folder and the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder in My Documents just to be on the safe side, so I can switch back to that version if I change my mind about the other graphics mod.
I also have the New Summer Environment (V2.7) weather mod by Grimes installed. I noticed there isn't any rain in this particular weather mod now that I have it enabled. I do have the rain probability slider slightly to the right but it makes no difference. Is this because of the mod itself? The weather for that particular mod is always sunny and blue skies in the day as well.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
