With the addition of border crossing functionality in Beyond the Baltic Sea, is the plan to add these to other areas of the map with a 'hard border' (grr Brexit), such as:

• EU external borders in Eastern Europe (Poland/Ukraine, Hungary/Serbia etc.)
• Switzerland borders
• UK/France
• Norway/Sweden
• Andorra borders
• Gibraltar (when you go over that way)

that would be awesome..

But I don't think that Schengen Area is a big problem, so maybe not that much borders, but what about Northern Ireland and Ireland?

Not a 'hard border''; there are no passport control or customs checkpoints on that border and the desire to avoid a return to the latter (which existed before 1987) is of course a big issue in Brexit. You could certainly add some disused facilities on the roads that are there in RL if not already present.

While Norway is in Schengen, it does have customs posts for goods to declare - as does Switzerland (although not always manned, there may be a phone instead). The facilities are built in game, they'd just need the border bits added.

It seems like a logical step to add them, and the ProMods team always goes for logical resolutions.

I was referring to customs checks - passport checks were eliminated in 1952 with the Nordic Passport Union. Different thing. The checks are generally conducted together in RL at a land border; hence why you're waiting for 4/5 minutes.

The stations are good enough, they just need the functionality i.e. barriers and flashing icons adding.

No more borders between Romania and Moldova, please....
