ProMods

Hi. I'm a beginner at map making but I would really like to make a large map of my home country Croatia in Ets2. I thought of making a 1:1 scale but some people say that's too much for me and would be boring to drive. Few people said that a 19:1 (or is it 1:19 i have no idea how is written) scale would be best. Maybe you could do some more cities in the standard ProMods map?

Hi,

the scale is 1:19, not 19:1.
1:19 means: 1 km in game is 19 km IRL.
19:1 means: 19 km in game is 1 km IRL.

Good idea! It would be really interesting.

I haven't seen any successful 1:1 map yet. So I suggest you to take a look at 1:19 mapping style.

Good idea! It would be really interesting.

But to me i think working for Promods would be more hard then alone.

In my opinion working for Promods is easier than working alone because there are people who can help you.

If you are going to make a 1:19 Croatia map make it compatible with Roextended and ProMods.

In my opinion instead of asking these questions, start to do mapping and know how to do it Mapping in the ProMods map is really much easier than mapping without anything, or in 1:1 scale.
