Crash when loading 2.41 [Solved]

It has been a while since I played ETS2. When last played I was using ETS 2 v. 1.35 and Promods 2.41. Steam automatically updated the latest ETS2 but I downgraded it to 1.35. I do have other mods running as well as is illustrated in the log below. That said, and the last I played the game (no hardware changes since) everything was fine with these versions. The Mod manager does not show any issues and selecting a save game (autosave or manual) does not show a red indicator which normally denotes an incompatibility. The save will load until the very end when it should drop me into the game, but instead it drops me to the desktop with no errors. I have tried loading numerous autosave and manual saves from various time points, but all result in the same crash. From the log file I can see the errors but am unclear exactly what needs to be done. Appreciate the help.

Your mod load order is a little off, specifically the placement of the ProMods definition file. Please check: [GUIDE] Load order for recommended compatible maps [1.36]. I know you're using 1.35 and the link is for 1.36, the load order should be the same. If that doesn't solve your problem please post a new game.log.

Thanks for the reply. That's odd as the order hasn't changed and worked just fine previously. I did go ahead and update the order to better match the link you sent, but the result is still the same unfortunately. New details below. Thanks for the continued help.

Select a profile, load it and see how it goes?
And if it fail, post the log here again?

On the log you posted first, there you did try to load a profile

I think current 1.35 in beta tab is for DX9, not DX11!
If you still have problems try without telemetry server.

How could I load the save and get this crash without selecting a profile? The menu forces you to select a profile at which time it brings you to the load screen. From that screen the save game loads until the end when it crashes. So every log I have provided above has been via me selecting my profile and loading a save.

Yes, 1.35 would be DX9 as I believe DX11 was a main add to the latest release. Why would DX9 be an issue? Also not clear on how to load without telemetry server.

Added in 45 minutes 16 seconds:
Reloaded the same profile again but with same result. Game log slightly different but similar to first.



Added in 20 minutes 55 seconds:
I reinstalled version 1.35 and it worked. Something must have been off with the initial downgrade but simply installing it again seems to have fixed the problem.
