I've got a question for you all.

SCS has signed all railway crossings like this;

But I know in the Netherlands, we sign them like this;

How are railway crossings in other European countries signed?

Yeah, Germany seems pretty similar to the Netherlands. I already assumed SCS made another error there. Just want to check for other countries in ETS2 territory :P

In Belgium there's just one sign, placed at 50m in built up areas, 150m outside.

Explanation and examples here: http://www.gratisrijbewijsonline.be/YTles24.htm

Finland is similar to Germany and Netherlands. Although the signs are of course with a different coloration, with yellow used instead of white. :P

Thus we have an additional chevron for every rail (if 2 or more are present) which is under the X sign.

Not sure what you mean here. Could you show us a picture perhaps?

Here you have an example.
This one is for Sweden however so the color-scheme might be different!

The cross at the top tells you that the railway has a single track.
As in this case where you have an additional under the first the railway has two tracks!

They look like this in Finland. And usually there's a stop-sign with the X-sign.

Ah, not that different from the Netherlands then.

We use this one for single-track railroads;

And this one for multi-track railroads;
