ProMods

Atleast i need more mapping skills, but i have considered trying to work on a 1:19 addon, or try making areas in Northern Norway. I agree the process is going slow with the northern areas. I need more mapping skills to work on a 1:19 scale. It is a lot different than working in 1:1 scale.

Time for a new update. It has been a wonderful Christmas holiday, so haven't had time to work on the map, but now i do.
More small villages along E6. I am working my way now towards Storjord. In one of these photos, you see a church. That is the Øvre Saltdal kirke(Upper Saltdal church). There will be a farm here to take jobs from. There will a road connection from Røkland to get to this farm.

Doing more progress into the new year
Reached this place on E6 now, called Nordnes. 41km left to the Norway-Sweden border! More farms too to take jobs from. I have made 5km of new road since Røkland.

I can really recommend this map and I have to say a big Thank You!

Driving in 1:1 gives you a way better feeling of your truck and the real distances involved. Furthermore you get the ability to enjoy the landscape and the cities a lot more! Sure driving takes a lot longer but for people who have already driven thousands of kilometers in ProMods (or other maps) this shouldn't be an issue all that much


The only questionable things are:
- isn't the area a bit flat in general or is it like that in reality?
- there are still lots of empty spaces -> is this realistic or simply WIP? (I'm not from Norway )

Other than that I hope that this map will attract more interest in the future since I definitely can see the benefits of having a 1:1 scaled map!

Back again working on the map

This road between Bertnes and Tverlandet is reinstated as it really is IRL.


I have now added the Lule Sami sign for this city too. More places in the north is getting signs on Lule Sami. Bodø already has now, and now Fauske has got one.


Adding more details to the unfinished areas in Fauske.


More of the scenery building i am doing on the unfinished area around Fauske. This has long been lack of details and i am now attempting to complete it.

These images are from a roadwork in the city of Bodø which i have made recently. I am currently working on expanding the map more, then it will be rolled out to the beta testing team before a release will happen.
