[REL] Universal English Localization v1.7 [1.43.x][ROEX][TGS][Volga][Caucasus][Sibir][AZGE][Kirov]

Description
Some map mods do not properly provide localization for their city & country names to English or the local language.
This mod aims to fix that and hopefully push forward localization, which has existed since v1.33, in the modding community.

Instructions
This is a DIRECT replacement for "English City Names" mods for the below listed mods (you do not need to have all the maps, any mix works).
Just place this mod file above all the map mods listed below in the mod manager.

Supported Mods
  • The Great Steppe (v2.0 or newer) - Missing local names in Kazakh/Russian
  • Volga Map (v1.2) - Names not input for localization (hardcoded in Russian)
  • Romania Extended (v3.0/v2.9) - Names not input for localization (hardcoded in Ukrainian)
  • Project Caucasus (v1.0a) - Missing local names & localization inputs incorrect (hardcoded in English)
  • SibirMap (v2.1.1b) - All names input correctly and working as intended, although missing default Russian localization file in original mod
  • Kirov & Kirov Oblast (v1.1) - Missing local names & localization inputs hardcoded in Russian
  • ROEX AZGE Addon (v3.0) - Missing local names
(Issues with original mods in red or orange, due to this mod versions are restricted. This is because I have to override their city files so any changes to those on their end may break stuff.)
(Note: These issues are not present when you use this mod, this mod is created to fix them, but as a side effect it limits which versions of said mods you can use.)

Other Languages If you wish to help contribute by adding a language, please fork the project on GitHub and create a pull request.

I am very excited about this! Finally we don't have to download separate mods for map mods so we can have English city names :)

Good. Good job. BUT...

ETS2 does not support some alphabets (eg no support for Arabic Abjad), or parts of them. For example, it does not support some Kazakh Cyrillic letters such as "Ғғ" or "Ққ", or some Azeri Latin letters such as "Əə". And you used these letters in the files, which will only result in not displaying them in the names in the game.

So either make the necessary simplification by replacing the problematic letters with the nearest equivalent, for example: "Ғғ" replace with "Гг", "Əə" replace with "Ee" etc. (in the case of Kazakh names, you can even use Latin, as there is currently the process of changing from Cyrillic to Latin based on the Turkish alphabet), or abandon this idea completely and focus on the location itself ... (it's not that I intend to release a similar mod :P )

ETS2 nie obsługuje niektórych alfabetów (np. brak wsparcia dla arabskiego abdżadu), lub ich części. Np. nie obsługuje niektórych liter kazachskiej cyrylicy, takich jak "Ғғ" lub "Ққ", albo niektórych liter azerskiej łacinki, takich jak "Əə". A użyłeś tych liter w plikach, co poskutkuje jedynie niewyświetlaniem ich w nazwach w grze.

Więc albo dokonaj koniecznego uproszczenia zamieniając problematyczne litery na najbliższy odpowiednik np.: "Ғғ" zamień na "Гг", "Əə" zamień na "Ee" itd. (w przypadku nazw kazachskich możesz nawet uzyć łacinki, gdyż aktualnie toczy się tam proces przechodzenia tam z cyrylicy na łacinkę opartą na alfabecie turcekim), albo kompletnie poniechaj ten pomysł i skup się na samej lokalizacji... (to wcale nie jest tak, że noszę się z zamiarem wydania podobnego moda :P )

Jeśli potrzebujesz jakiejś pomocy w tej materii, to jestem do dyspozycji...

Hi,

Great mod that makes things easier ;
But why city names sized that small ?!
Was already hard with original english names files, but it becomes almost impossible to read roex & southern region's ct.names...

I surely grow old, but "standard size" would be welcome !

As far as I know, there is no way for change size of city names in the world map.
I guess some cities, especially in Southern Region, have small names because they are actually 'small' cities in the game.

I'm not sure what you meant by "Names not input for localization". Also, do I need to have all five mods installed to use this? I was only interested in Southern Region and The Great Steppe.
