ProMods

I am new to ETS2 and was curious as to the difference between PRO MODS and EUROADNET?

Good evening I could not tell you I do not play this card at all, I only play on Promods, but what I can tell you is that Promods in my opinion has 6 years of advances lol.

after from one team to another the cartography changes, but I really can't give my point of view on EuRoadNet.

ProMods has been around for years and has grown into a very large map with wholly new content (including parts of Spain, the Balkans, Greece, Ukraine, Nothern Scandinavia, Ireland, Iceland, Cyprus, Georgia, and the Levant) as well as lots of rebuilds to add new content to and improve all vanilla areas.

EuRoadNet is a new map mod (first release this year) rebuilding parts of Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Norway, and Denmark.

I'm too biased to say which offers better quality.

We are just at the beginning and much new content will follow. We pay a lot of attention to details and quality.

You should try to join Promods instead of trying to duplicate work in the best case. You will always be behind.

I totally agree, especially as cartographers working on France would be needed at Promods.

IMO it's good to have multiple mods covering the same areas.

Each team has a different approach. A different look on things, different details, different techniques.

Therefor, it's sad the TSM team quit. And I look forward to what Euroadnet will bring in the future.

I don't agree. If all mappers of the same area join forces, they can do much more and we can enjoy the work of all of them, instead of choosing only one version.

In an ideal world, that would be the best thing to happen. This is not an ideal world. As seen in many cases in the past, attempts to merge maps and teams together often results in disagreements and arguments about the way and how areas should be mapped. The more teams you merge, the bigger this problems gets.

It's not wrong either, all I would like to see is a good French team to join Promods, in order to give a good blow of refreshment to Promods France, which is very old ....
