ETS2 Crash to Desktop after completing delivery

Using the latest version of promods that came out today with trailers and middle east also installed, thats all the mods I have got in my game. Tried reinstalling and different profile and same result. Everything is fine picking a job and driving but when I arrive and park up, drop off my trailor and at that point it all crashes to desktop.

Not sure if that's the problem but follow the loading order from here (ignore the mods you do not use)

Checked my loading order and it is still doing the same. Crashes after dropping of trailor, so I load back in to do it but then on the next job it does the same.

You could test in a new profile to see if it will happen there too. Maybe the profile is somehow corrupted.

You could also try removing vtlog or whatever it is you're using for telemetry, as it appears it's crashing during the telemetry submission for your job.

Dont use any external telemetry applications so dont know what that could be.

Also tried on a few prolfiles including a fresh one, still the same.

If nothing works you could also verify game files on steam, redownload/re-extract ProMods, try in vanilla profile.

I believe fropmeister is referring to the "LogIt" application/plug-in. These are the messages from that app when it starts-up:

Code: Select all

00:00:15.079 : New profile selected: ':no_cloud/Juan Martin'
00:00:15.825 : loading 'LogIt_x64' 'C:/ProgramData/LogIt/LogIt_x64.dll'
00:00:21.011 : [LOGIT] [CORE] Attempting to initialize LogIt 3.2.5
00:00:21.011 : [LOGIT] [STEAM] SDK Initialized!
00:00:21.011 : [LOGIT] [CORE] Game detected as Euro Truck Simulator 2
00:00:21.011 : [LOGIT] [API] Authenticating client...
00:00:21.012 : [LOGIT] [TELEMETRY] Initialized!
00:00:21.012 : [LOGIT] [CORE] LogIt 3.2.5 Initialized!
00:00:21.248 : <ERROR> [LOGIT] [API] Failed to parse authentication response!
00:00:21.248 : <ERROR> [LOGIT] [API] Reason: parse error - unexpected '<'
And the messages right before your game crashes:

Code: Select all

00:26:13.878 : [LOGIT] [TELEMETRY] Job finished!
00:26:13.905 : [LOGIT] [TRIPLOGGER] Job saved successfully!
00:26:14.190 : [LOGIT] [API] Job submitted!
I think this is a plug-in, probably something installed in your "steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\plugins" folder. Creating a new game profile would not escape this plug-in's influence.
