[REL] Carpathian ProMods Addon - V0.5 (for ProMods 2.62)

Hello everyone,

This is a map that may or may not be expanded upon in the future and consists of the E58 route from the Ukrainian border with Romania to the Romanian border with Moldova and connecting to a couple cities. It also returns the city of Piatra Neamţ first introduced in ProMods 2.01 and removed after the Road to the Black Sea DLC.

Includes two cities, Baia Mare and Piatra Neamţ

The quality of this map can be improved by using some newer assets in the future, maybe. The current ones aren't the best.

The download link for version 0.5 can be found HERE.

Load order: Just load it above ProMods files. Should be compatible with any other ProMods add-on as long as they don't touch these sectors.

FAQ:
Q:Where have I seen this before? I get this weird feeling of Déjà vu...
A: It used to be in ProMods and I just brought it back and merged it back in. I'm going to update the models, vegetation and roads in the future probably so it doesn't look like 2017.

Q: Why is there a bug?
A: I don't know, is there? I made this mod in 3 hours and drove past once to check if the game wouldn't crash. I'll look into ironing out bugs when I do get around to updating the terrain, roads and models to a more recent version from the Balkan DLC.

UPDATE 0.2:
Improved terrain with newer terrain, changed several models to DLC ones, improving towns, improved roads with newer ones.

UPDATE 0.3:
Merged with the latest ProMods version [2.60] that included Чернівці (Chernivtsi) and the road to Bălți. Now the mod is connected to Bălți again.

UPDATE 0.4:
Fixed bugs, returned Piatra Neamţ - you can even find the old easter egg in the area :shock:

UPDATE 0.5:
Merged with new ProMods update - DN16 (Cluj Napoca-Reghin), DN2/DN29 (Ukrainian border - Târgu Frumos)

Oh yes. it brings back the good old days with Romania by ProMods ...

The only bother is that there are no signs at all and that you can find trees growing from under the asphalt.

Huh, those trees weren't there when I drove it. I must have accidentally created them in the meantime. Fixed link with that bug fixed.

wow its great you returned moldova border my favorite and baia mare but you need to rebuild with black sea prefabs and add dead end barriers i hope pm developers implements this

Update to 0.2. Should look "better" now. Still not up to standard with the rest of ProMods, but it's improving with the use of newer assets on this old road.

Its nice. Road signs are still missing. (I can try to help, even though I'm rather green in the map editor)

However, I noticed that a certain Romanian absentmindedly built a house on the road ... :P

I keep accidentally moving roads a bit 😆😆which makes stuff like this or the vegetation on the road happen.
Hopefully when I do the next version it won't happen 😛

I've driven that road a couple of times in real life, so I'm up to revisiting those places. :D

It doesn't work with your Cluj-Napoca - Targu Mures connection (perhaps it uses the same sectors). Will you add that connection to this mod or will you drop that?
