Hi, i was driving at 21:03 Time and it is just to bright for that time, it should be a lot darker at that time, is this some king of bug in 1.40 because of new light system , in previous versions of ETS2 night have fallen a lot earlier for example at 20:30 it was already dark as it should be, but now in 1:40 driving between 21:00-21:30 is still too much day light.

Is the sun above the horizon? or below?

20:30, should not be dark.
Check 21st june.
Even Banja Luka https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/bosnia- ... banja-luka should still have daylight at 20:30, altho it would be minutes from sunset.

Game is set at the summer solstice ie the longest day of the year in terms of daylight. There are mods out there can rectify this and give you conditions on any given day of the year.

Zmaj_Bosanski, daylight or sun above horizon?
Any mods that affect the sun?
Not sure if all things OK or not, from your screenshots.

How do you mean " daylight or sun above horizon", what should i look exactly. I think i don't have any mods that affect sun, only weather mod i use is Realistic Weather Sound by Night Son

Ok, these pictures below are The Great Steppe map, it is 22:03 Hours , and look where is Sun ( in a red circle), it is well above horizon ... which is absolutelly not normal...

https://postimg.cc/0MtMsZtT
https://postimg.cc/xNckTHhc

And then after some short driving i crossed into Russia ( on Sibir Map 2.1.1b) and it imediatelly as soon as i crossed border put my clock backwards at 19:52 time. As shown on pictures below at that time night was already falling as it should be.

https://postimg.cc/FYgKvDzT
https://postimg.cc/Y4rCCYmM

After that i was driving all time on sibir map into the night and night was evolving as it should be and everything was normal but then suddenly after 02:00 a.m it started to be too bright like sunrise . At 03:10 a.m it was almost broad daylight . Pictures below are from 02:18 - 03:10 a.m

And finally on pictures below are mods i use. Sorry for all these pictures and long post but i don't know how to explain this problem, it really bothers me and ruins gameplay when i see daylight at 22:00 and sunrise at 02:00 a.m , i don't know why is this happening.

For The Great Steppe map aka Kazakhstan, I have no clue where you are in those screenshots.
Game day is stuck at 21st june.
Qostanay https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/@1521667 Daytime 05:18-22:16 "GMT+6"
Due to not finding information for Troitsk, I went for Chelyabinsk https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/russia/chelyabinsk Daytime 04:13-21:38 "GMT+5"
I guess the 1st batch of photos and 2nd batch are from these areas https://www.google.com/maps/dir/54.0844 ... m2!4m1!3e0
GPS clock showing local time, right? 22:03 Hours, sun goes down sometime after 22:16, due to you being +100km west of Qostanay . That seems reasonable.
But then 38km later, GPS clock shows 19:51. That 38km might have taken more than half an hour. + time zone change, so clock should be 22:51-1hour = 21:51. Sundown at Chelyabinsk 21:38. Seems reasonable.
What seems wrong, is the clock when you enter Sibir Map. Moscow time is "GMT+3". That part of the map should have Yekaterinburg Time "GMT+5" "MSK+2"
21:51 YEKT = 19:51 MSK
In short: The problem here seems to be that the part of Sibir Map you are in, is at MSK and not YEKT.
+ I have no clue where the 3rd batch of screenshots are taken from.
Only that the destination is 4000km away. But looking at the screenshots, that it shows MSK, somewhere in Russia.
It can not be Murmansk, it should have Midnight sun. Petrozavodsk could be possible. But this with the right time settings.
Around Moscow could be possible too.

Correct , 1st and 2nd batch of photos are from that area. So for Qostanay Sunrise is at 05:18 ( i get it about 02:00 ) and sunset is at 22:16 but at 22:03 you saw how sun was still high above horizon .
For Chelyabinsk area sunrise is at 04:13 but i get it same as in Kazakstan about 02:00 starts daylight , and sunrise is 21:38 i get it about 19:52 so something is not right i guess.
GPS clock is showing local time i guess.
3rd batch of photos was also on Sibir map as i continued driving south towards Aqtobe in Kazakstan.

So sunsets times can be accepted but sunrise times are too diferrent becouse i get sunrise at about 02:00 and at 03:00 it is almost complete daylight.

You said : " In short: The problem here seems to be that the part of Sibir Map you are in, is at MSK and not YEKT."
Yeah, but i get this problem also in germany and rest of europe becouse you saw in germany at 22:00 is still daylight, i don't know how to fix this, before 1.40 patch everything was normal, i used to get night at 21:00 in average and sunrise about 04:30 which is ok . i din't use any new mods that i didn't use before 1.40 patch, everything is same, you can see my mods on last batch of photos

Night at 21, that is too early for Paris, Berlin, for example.
Rome should have civl twiligt around 21. Night from 23 to 03:22, etc.
Last week, I almost missed getting a packet, before a place closed at 22, due to it being more light outdoors than I thought it would be. Civil twilight. I'm at/slightly north of current map DLC's.

/edit:
I found information regarding the time zone bug.
