New version not compatible???

Hi. I have downloaded the new version (256) and it shows in my mod folder as the new version but when I go to the manage mods folder in-game it says it's an old one and it isn't compatible? Can anyone help? Thank you

Have you clicked the I (INFO) button in the mod manager to find out why it is listed as incompatible?
Do you have all required DLCs?

I have all the DLC. The old version of promods still shows instead of the new one even though I thought I deleted it? I must not be putting them in the correct folder. I go to steam, steam apps, common, ETS2 then mods. I'm not the best with computers to be honest. I still have v251 showing and it said it isn't compatible with my current game version.

Hi,

your mod folder is at the wrong location.
The mod folder have to be at "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" - and the folder has to be named "mod" and not "mods".
