brainiac, those roads look, painful, to drive.

It looks really great and I'll have fun exploring the areas I'm sure.

But the roads on the last two screenshots, are they like this in real life? Won't it damage cargo and truck in-game (and irl)?

Why would they build a road like that?

Leftovers from the Soviet Union. And yes, the roads are like that IRL - the two pictures in question are from the town of Jasliq in Uzbekistan.
IRL and ingame, they are made in a way that is enough to not damage your truck/car depending on how fast you drive on them.
Remember, this is Central Asia, not Europe. Not every country there has the budget for beautifully paved roads, especially in remote areas.
