When I press Esc, the game automatically stoped without saving, is it a bug or a feature?

I noticed the game crashes shortly after finishing the first job and selecting your second job. It crashes to the desktop while in the job selection screen.

Added in 49 minutes 38 seconds:
It’s all good turned out to be a corrupted game save. The map is good and the signs are funny.
