ProMods

Hi everyone.

Last week I was playing ETS 2 v1.40 with ProMods v2.55. The gameplay and everything was smooth (60fps min). Two days ago I upgraded to ETS 2 v1.46 with ProMods v2.63. With the upgrades I noticed that my GPU utilization is 90%+ peak all the time (with ETS2 its always above 80%) while FPS drops to 15-25 with both V-Sync on and off. I removed the ProMods from my mod manager and played the vanilla game alone and the results are back to fine again.

My specs:
Intel Core i7-3770K
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER
DDR3 32GB 1333 MHz
Crucial MX500 1TB

There shouldn't be any significant changes to the mod between these versions, have you added other mods?

Its normal. Promods has lowered their quality standards as of today, its usual to find some not totally optimized parts, but still it shouldnt be that bad.
Keep in mind, the game engine is very limited and in the moment you load it more than usual, it starts losing its mind. On top of that, the game engine works worst than it did in 1.40, way worst
and the new lightning system, even if its worst than the old one drags more resources than before. If you didnt play the in between versions, its normal you experience more fps drops than usual.
You are not used to it. And the gpu being at 90% its also normal with this game. Some gpus dont go that high, others do. Its how it is until we get a proper upgrade in the game engine (so, never).

Of course its bullshit, as you say. Nobody will EVER say something like what i did in a forum. We all know honesty and truth is completely tabu. So, sorry for that lol.
